I’ve finally reached the point that I’m so feed up with the bull that is going on in our country that I need an outlet!
Listen, I have been silent for far too long and so have most of the people that would be classified as moderates. If asked, that is what I classify myself as.
Over the years I have voted for the person and have not based my vote on party lines. The other day I was telling my business partner that the moderate has no voice and that is why I decided to start this blog.
You may not agree with me on many topics but hopefully we can start a sophisticated debate.
HotPoopInfo.com is here to give me a voice and hopefully many others.
We need that! There is so much crap going on in this country that I need a place to post my opinion. Both the republicans and especially the democrats are pissing me off!
In fact, I am getting so pissed off with what is going on in the US that it’s moving me more and more to the right. But my core beliefs are in the middle.
I want opinionated people to jump in and communicate their feelings regarding our political system. I will not censor you unless your language is x-rated.
So let the games begin!

OK then. I guess i’ll get this party started. I’m not going to tell you if I am Republican, democrat or anything else, cause that just takes the fun out of it.
Here are the areas that need to be addressed. The war is not over oil. Its about making money for some and spending tax payers dollars. If it is about oil then lets toss a few bleepin Nukes over there, turn everything into sheet of glass and then come back and re-drill.
The people in office these days don’t seem to have a clue. I am not sure if this is because of heavy drug use in the 50’s and 60’s but something needs to be done. The US dollar is spiraling downward and if something isn’t done soon we could be looking at a huge depression.

Well I believe the intentions were honorable initially, not sure about now - this is regarding the war.
You may be correct regarding your opinion of people in office but how about the new group coming up. Do you think they have a clue? I don’t trust any on the dems side to protect American lives.
How about the debate over illegal Aliens? Hillary wants to give our hard worked for taxes to folks that aren’t citizens. I have nothing wrong with anybody that wants a better life but everybody has to follow our laws and do it right.
Hospitals are almost bankrupt because of this issue!
It is all just crazy!

The interesting thing about being a “moderate” is one can claim to be the voice of reason without having to take a firm stance on anything. The ultimate dodge from accountability because no firm beliefs are required to be a moderate. Just take a middle position on any issue and pretend it is the rational one.

Hi Mike,
I suppose you can argue that point but arguing that a “Moderate” doesn’t conform to radical or extreme points of view, can also be made.
Moreover, I define a “moderate” as one that embraces some democratic viewpoints as well as republican points of view.

“An alternate definition, and one widely held among swing voters, is that a moderate is one who has firm convictions on all issues, yet some convictions fall just to the left of the spectrum and some fall just to the right.”
